Back in April 2013, we surveyed contractors on Email Marketing. Below is the result from one of the questions we asked:
 

Does your company do email marketing?

We asked our contractor network if their company was currently doing any form of email marketing to homeowners and 55% said “Yes”. Email marketing can be one of the most powerful marketing tools for contracting businesses if it is done correctly. There are 3 main reasons that every contracting business should seriously consider incorporating email marketing into their ongoing marketing strategy. First, email marketing is one of the least expensive marketing activities. It requires no printing, no postage and very little labor / production time when compared to other types of marketing. Second, it is immediate. Within a simple click on a button, you can deliver an email marketing piece to thousands of customers and generate a virtual instantaneous response. Third, it is measurable. Unlike many other marketing activities, you can accurately measure the effectiveness of your email campaigns by monitoring who is opening and clicking on the links in your emails.
