In December 2013, we surveyed contractors on Company Uniforms. Below is the result from one of the questions we asked:
 

For your business, what is the primary objective of requiring your employees to wear uniforms?

Overwhelmingly, contractors said that the primary objective of their company uniform policy was to create a professional look for their business. Studies show that customers view employees who wear uniforms as being more professional, organized and reliable when compared to non-uniformed employees. Additionally, customers have a higher level of confidence that companies with uniformed employees have workers who are properly trained to do the job right. This data suggests that company uniforms ultimately have the ability to make a tangible impact on a company’s bottom line.
