Back in May 2013, we surveyed contractors on Advertisements in Print Publications. Below is the result from one of the questions we asked:
 

How much of your company’s overall marketing budget is allocated to print advertisements in publications?

Of the contractors who said that they did run advertisements in print publications, the majority (57%) indicated that they were allocating ten percent or less of their overall marketing budget towards ads in print publications. As a follow-up question, we asked the contractors if they have decreased their overall spending on advertisements in printed publications over the last several years and 72% said “yes” they have decreased their overall spending on advertisements in printed publications.
