We also asked contractors if they drug test potential employees before they hire them and only 39% of contractors we surveyed indicated that they do. Drug testing is another practice that contracting businesses should seriously consider, particularly for those employees who will be interacting with customers at their residence. In the minds of your customers, your employees, for all intents and purposes, are the face of your business. It is critically important that, as an employer, you are doing your due diligence on everyone you hire to ensure that your employees are able to represent your company the way you want them to.
