Last month, we surveyed contractors on Customer Service & Dispatching. Below is the result from one of the questions we asked.
 

Does your company have a customer service strategy in place to respond to social media comments and reviews?

The traditional way customers find and talk about businesses has changed. Social media and review sites, with their ability to offer unfiltered customer feedback and a more personal experience, are now king. Most companies seem to understand that, as 68% of respondents indicated their company has a policy in place to respond to online reviews, while 32% do not. The important thing to keep in mind is that, even if you don’t think you’re on social media, you are. Reviews are being left whether you’ve signed up for it or not, so you’d better get on board and establish a policy to both mitigate negative feedback and encourage and validate positive reviews.
