EGIA Contractor University Weekly Update
EGIA Contractor University Weekly Show
It's time to talk about one of the most critically important conversations we can have during a call: the repair vs replace conversation. It can be difficult trying to decide if a system should be repaired or replaced. It can be even more difficult being the person that has to tell a homeowner that they need to spend $10,000 to replace their system. It's so difficult, in fact, that many of us will even repair systems when we know deep down that they should be replaced.

As uncomfortable as that conversation is to have, we have to remember that our homeowners have a right to know if their system needs to be replaced. So, how do you determine if a system needs to be replaced? And if it does, how do you present your homeowner with the replace option in a way that is low pressure and informative? For the answers to these questions, we turn once again to Gary Elekes in an installment we call Repair vs Replace.
