Rebate Administration

How We Build, Administer & Deliver Rebate Programs

Utility & Government Resource Efficiency Programs

At EGIA, we believe in the power of efficiency. Using the platforms and resources we have selected and developed, EGIA delivers comprehensive yet simple processes for utility and government programs. Whether administering rebates, managing contractor networks, or handling special projects, EGIA is able to leverage decades of experience to facilitate the success of our clients.

Rebate & Incentive Program Management

FULL TURNKEY PROGRAM DELIVERY

EGIA’s Rebate Processing System (ERPS) offers a flexible database platform, customizable to fit the needs of any program. The ERPS has been used to process over 3 million rebate applications across multiple utility and government programs, each with their own unique requirements and guidelines. In addition to the rebate database platform, EGIA offers a staff of trained and experienced representatives to carefully review each incentive application for quality and completion.

Metropolitan Water District

The SoCal Water$mart program sponsored by the Metropolitain Water District (MWD) is the largest water conservation program in the nation. The MWD program delivered through over 200 separate water agencies provides services to 18 million Southern California water consumers. EGIA implements all aspects of the residential, commercial and public agency water conservation program, including: program design; secure online rebate processing; targeted program marketing; program website development and website hosting; and delivery of real-time management reporting and a state-of-the-art administrative dashboard.

SOFTWARE-AS-A-SERVICE (SaaS)

EGIA’s Rebate Processing System (ERPS) can be offered as part of a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution for agencies with their own workforce resources. By leveraging a system that is designed with quality control in mind, many utility program sponsors have found that EGIA’s SaaS is the perfect solution to upgrade their existing processes while maintaining full control over the program.

Glendale Water & Power

EGIA provides a software-only solution for energy efficiency program rebate processing for the staff at Glendale Water & Power. With this advanced Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) rebate processing solution, GWP customers and utility customer services representatives access EGIA’s ERPS through a secure online portal and web application. Additionally, leveraging the flexibility of EGIA’s ERPS, Glendale’s SaaS was expanded to process applications and track participation through their income eligible Bill Payment and Electric Bill Discount programs. This expansion of the SaaS solution dramatically reduced GWP manpower requirements to validate, database and routinely update customer qualification data.

Reporting & Analytics

Resource efficiency programs, EGIA has developed a comprehensive on-demand reporting system that allows program management to easily access data for analysis and comparison. In addition to charts and graphs, the EGIA reporting dashboards allow program managers to search and filter the raw data as needed. These dashboards can also be made available to subcontractors and other authorized personnel with specific and restricted access as needed.

Customer Call Center

The customer care team at EGIA receives training and feedback to provide the best experience for rebate applicants and utility customers. Our representatives regularly go beyond the requirements of the program to assist customers in finding additional information and pointing them in the right direction when they have questions that fall outside of our programs. The options for customer contact include phone, email, and chat services and more that can be made available directly on the program website. These options help to make your customers feel valued and heard as they navigate the application process.

Inspections

EGIA’s ERPS includes the option for an inspection portal that can dramatically improve the efficiency of your inspectors. With EGIA’s unique platform, inspectors in the field can make immediate updates to the relevant applications by using a mobile-friendly platform to upload inspection results and add their own field notes. To assist with quality assurance, EGIA’s inspection tools allow users to flag specific rebates for inspection while also offering a randomized selection process.

Websites & Marketing

Resource efficiency programs, EGIA has developed a comprehensive on-demand reporting system that allows program management to easily access data for analysis and comparison. In addition to charts and graphs, the EGIA reporting dashboards allow program managers to search and filter the raw data as needed. These dashboards can also be made available to subcontractors and other authorized personnel with specific and restricted access as needed.

DISTRIBUTOR MIDSTREAM PROGRAMS

Independent and manufacturer owned distributors at times have been hesitant to actively participate in utility midstream resource efficiency programs. Due to the perception of financial risk, complex program reporting requirements, qualified product verification processes and multi-utility program variations across their distribution network, distributors turn to EGIA to manage and simplify utility program implementation. EGIA’s program administration includes development of a contractor portal and a comprehensive online incentive processing application. The incentive application facilitates program incentive reimbursement, qualification validation for the program, document retention and program performance reporting. By managing the program, EGIA reduces the distributor’s risk, ensuring equipment is installed in a qualifying area and eligible for incentive reimbursement. EGIA has created an online process to assist contractors within the distributor’s purview to accurately pre-qualify the customer, verify product eligibility, and certify that the customer is active and on an eligible utility rate schedule.
